Ereban Shadow Legacy is a fast-paced stealth platformer game where you become Ayana, the last descendant of a forgotten race. Harness mystical shadow powers, high-tech gadgets and avoid or kill to uncover the truth about your past and the key to saving a dying, morally grey universe. What will your legacy be? Although it will feel a little easy for very passionate stealth fanatics, this also makes it a great introduction or a way back into the genre for any player, and it’s very comfy to play if you’ve just been missing fun games that you need to stay undetected in. The game’s signature mechanic, Shadow Merge feels unique in the stealth space, speeding up gameplay quite a lot, and you can easily imagine inspirations from Splatoon and Aragami as you sink into shadows and flow around, invisible and incorporeal. Ereban features no combat, so unless you can react quickly with an item or skill, it’s best to have a fast, safe way to escape to high ground if you’re detected and chased.
