You’re probably still end up trying and failing a level several times before you finally get the solution right, but I can assure you that what seemed impossible at first will become in the end a realization of how brilliant these puzzles actually are.

The goal of every level is to eat all the fruits and reach the portal. Snakebirds are a special kind of snake that is comprised of square segments; they can bend and turn, push or lift things and they follow their own set of physics laws. Upon eating a fruit, a snakebird extends its size by one square, thus making it easier to reach further areas of the level. However, you’ll learn soon enough that having a fruit accessible doesn’t necessarily mean that a snakebird has to immediately reach and eat it, since the fruits can also be used as platforms. Having multiple

snakebirds in the same level complicates things a bit, because you need to figure out which one of them must eat the fruit and extend its size in order to help the others reach the portal. A key component of the puzzles is to find the right form for a snakebird; snakebirds can help each other assume that certain shape but also push / lift other snakebirds while maintaining their shape or act as platforms for each other. The whole fun of the puzzles comes from discovering how all these mechanics should be combined so that all the snakebirds reach the exit portal.
