It’s not without flaws, however. First off, there’s some balancing that needs to be done with the difficulty. The first stage on normal difficulty is surprisingly easy with the right unlocks (eg. if you keep multiplying your attacks), but nigh impossible if you focus on the wrong upgrades. Also, there’s quite a massive difficulty jump when going for the other maps or the Nightmare version of them. It’s also pretty hard to become permanently stronger because unlocking characters, boosting stats, etc. requires a pretty high amount of credits. After 7-8 upgrades every one of them costs thousands, with each weapon-related unlock also costing like 2000 and most characters needing 5000 and beyond. Even with the daily challenges and such it’s difficult to do more than a couple thousand coins in a run, so it can become a bit grindy. But I’m sure these things are merely tinkering with a couple numbers and shouldn’t take ages to fix. Everything else about the game is addictive, polished and well-made, so I can recommend it wholeheartedly anyway.
