Destroy All Humans — this is a humorous adventure game in which we play as a dangerous alien terrorizing our planet. The game is a complete remake of the first part of the series, which appeared in 2005 on the Xbox and PlayStation 2 consoles. The game takes place in the United States in 1959. The protagonist is Cryptosporidium-137, a large-eyed and gray-haired alien belonging to space Furon, whose appearance reflects the most popular visions of visitors from outside the Earth. The main character arrives on our planet, completing a mission entrusted to him by a chief named Ortopox-13. His goal is to find the missing Cryptosporidium-136, which was preparing plans for massive DNA extraction from human bodies.

Aliens need to maintain their appearance, which has lost its reproductive ability, and only cloning technology protects it from complete extinction. Humans have in their genetic code the key particles of Furon DNA, which is the remnant of an alien visit to Earth in ancient times. During the adventure, Cryptosporidium-137 must face the U.S. military and also oppose secret government organizations that may be responsible for the disappearance of his brother.

The action of the game is presented from a third-person perspective. Players directly control Cryptosporidium-137, which has various fantastic weapons taken directly from Class B classic sci-fi movies. During the game, we move around large and open 3D maps of America in the 1950s. We visit both typical suburbs and secret military bases.
