You live alone in a remote cabin, far from the reach of AI and the comforts of modern society. Every day is a test of your resolve—chopping wood, hunting for food, and tending to the small garden that keeps you alive through the harsh seasons. You’ve chosen this life, one that demands self-reliance and rewards hard work with a sense of purpose and quiet satisfaction.
But recently, something has changed. You’ve begun to notice movement in the woods that surround your home—figures darting between the trees, watching you from the shadows. At first, you thought they were animals, but then you realized the truth: they are humans, abandoned, left to grow wild. The world out there, so distant from your own, has forgotten what responsibility means, leaving these people to survive on their own in the most primal way.
These humans, untamed and feral, are more like animals than people. They don’t speak, they don’t understand even the most basic social norms. But you can’t just turn them away. You remember a time when responsibility was taken seriously, when people didn’t rely on machines for everything. So, you take them in—usually not without a struggle. Each encounter is a reminder of the world’s failings, but also of the choice you made to live differently, to hold onto the values that the world has abandoned.

Your cabin becomes a home for these people, unfortunately not all of your whims are for the betterment of these people. Being able to train them however you want is a temptation that lingers over your head every day.
